In this guide we will go through some of the most useful console commands in CS:GO, which require sv_cheats to be enabled. Have you ever wondered what it feels like using cheats and hacks in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive? With the built-in sv_cheats commands, you can experience wallhack, no recoil, and godmode for yourself. However, there are no commands for "aimbot" at the moment. That said, we don't recommend you get a taste for it since it will end up getting you VAC banned if you choose to use hacks one day. On the other hand, using the commands in this article on a server where sv_cheats is enabled, will NOT get you VAC banned. More on this later.

Sv_cheats commands in CSGO

Sv_cheats commands are just a special type of console commands. To work, they require the server admin to enable cheats. This is done by setting the sv_cheats command to 1. Open the console and type:

sv_cheats 1

Because this is a built-in functionality in CS:GO, you will NOT get banned for using sv_cheats commands. I repeat you will NOT get VAC banned for using sv_cheats 1 commands!

This is not true, however, if you download a hack somewhere, which bypasses sv_cheats and enables it only for you. But if you haven't downloaded any program or hack, you should not worry about anything.

Typing the commands in a random server will not get you banned either because they won't work. As mentioned before, only the server admin can enable cheats.

How to enable sv_cheats commands

Before we start with the commands and CVARS, you need to enable sv_cheats commands. This is pretty simple and can be done through the developer console.

You have to be the server administrator
Open the developer console (~)
Type: sv_cheats 1
Sv_cheats commands are now enabled, to disable again type "sv_cheats 0" in the console.

The commands are divided into different categories, to make it easier to find what you need.

Cheats & hacks commands

Command	Description
god	Godmode. Makes you invincible. You won't take any damage at all.
sv_infinite_ammo 1	Gives you infinite ammo. Can be 0, 1 or 2. Default is 0. 0: no infinite ammo 1: infinite ammo with no relead 2: infinite ammo with reload
noclip	Allows you to fly and pass through any object. While noclipping you can't die.
r_drawothermodels 2	Render player models as wireframe. You are able to see other players through walls (wireframe wallhack). Can be 0, 1 or 2. Default is 1.
mat_wireframe 2	Render models and probs as wireframe. Works a bit like r_drawothermodels 2. You are able to see other players through walls (wireframe wallhack). Can be 0, 1, 2, 3 or 4. Default is 0.
enable_skeleton_draw 1	Render the models skeletons without the rest of the textures. You are able to see other players skeletons through walls (like a wireframe wallhack). Can be 0 or 1. Default is 0.
mat_fullbright 3	Render walls and models white. Can be 0, 1, 2 or 3. Default is 0.
mat_fillrate 1	No flash (Asus wallhack). Can be o or 1. Default is 0.
r_drawparticles 0	No smoke. Can be 0 or 1. Default is 1.
fog_override 1	No fog. Can be 0 or 1. Default 0. After using fog_override 1, you can use fog_enable 0. You can also type "fogui" to open fog UI.
thirdperson	Thirdperson mode.
firstperson	Firstperson mode (default).
snd_show 1 + snd_visualize 1	"Sound ESP". Shows a lot of info about the sounds. Default 0.
cl_leveloverview 2	Level overview (kind of buggy). Can be 0, 1 or 2. Default 0.
host_timescale X	Speedhack. Replace "X" with value. Prescale the clock by this amount. Default = 0. Speedhack: 5 Slow-motion: 0.5
host_framerate X	Speedhack. Replace "X" with value. Set to lock per-frame time elapse. Default = 0. Speedhack: 50 Slowmotion: 500
cl_pitchup 900	Unlock max up sight. Default = 89.
cl_pitchdown 900	Unlock max down sight. Default = 89.
r_showenvcubemap 1	Chrome models. Default = 0.
mat_showlowresimage 1	"Minecraft Mode". Extra low resolution. Might improve performance. Default = 0.
mat_proxy 2	Strange kind of wallhack. Default = 0.
sv_consistency 0	"Consistency bypass". Whether the server enforces file consistency for critical files.
sv_showimpacts 1	Impact marker. Default 0.
